If I am going to help students with the Twenty Book Reading Challenge, I need to be familiar with third grade books, lots of third grade books. I read appropriate books when my own children were in elementary school, but that's been awhile. I'm not up to date.
So, while the students are doing their Twenty Book Reading Challenge, I am embarking on a my own reading challenge. I want to read twenty new books for elementary students by the end of the school year. If you have favorite elementary books that you would like to recommend, please tell me about them. I started the challenge in August and I have already read some fabulous books.
